Bodfish Bob's BBQ Hot Dogs

Ingredients:

3/4 cup chopped onion
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1-1/2 cups chopped celery
1-1/2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 packages Beef Franks
16 hot dog buns, split

Preparation:

In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion in butter until tender.

Add celery, ketchup, water, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar,
Worcestershire sauce and mustard; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Cut three 1/4 inch deep slits on each side of hot dogs;
place in a 2-1/2 quart baking dish.

Pour the sauce over the hot dogs.

Cover and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until heated through.
